Clinical activities of the School of Medicine faculty
The Mongolia-Japan Hospital /MJH/ of MNUMS was established with a donation from the Government of Japan, and the first university hospital in Mongolia was founded when MJH opened its outpatient clinic on October 1, 2019. Approximately a year later, the Central Hospital of MNUMS was established. Department heads of the School of Medicine /SoM/ are also in charge of the relevant departments at the University hospital or work as an hospital unit head to provide the physician-lecturers with leadership and management while the SoM faculty actively participates in the clinical activities at not only the University hospital, but also other National referral centers such as National Cancer Research Center, National Centre for Communicable Diseases, National Centre for Mental Health, and National Centre for Maternal and Children’s Health and many others.

The SoM faculty working at the MJH of MNUMS are involved in clinical activities of the following centers, units, offices, and departments providing quality healthcare service to the clients:

56.7% of our physician-lecturers received professional degrees, and 8.9% of them are national leading experts and consultants.
