Brief history
Since the People’s Government’s decision to use modern medicine to protect the population’s health, medical experts in Mongolia have been providing care for ear, nose, and throat disorders, as well as teaching junior doctors and nurses. Between 1921 and 1952, Soviet military specialists provided ear, nose, and throat care to Mongolian people, and the first lecturers of the human medical faculty at Mongolian University were Soviet medical specialists. In 1952, T. Shagdarsuren, an honored doctor, state honor, and academician became Mongolia’s first national otolaryngologist. From 1955, Sh.
